A TOTAL of 314 pupils from 19 Kemas kindergartens in the Bayan Baru constituency received their scrolls from Bayan Baru MP Datuk Wong Kam Hoong.

Also present at the graduation ceremony held at Vistana Hotel in Penang recently were Penang Kemas deputy director Linda Hamzah and Bayan Baru Kemas Activity Committee chairman Roslan Mohamed.
In his speech, Wong, who is Deputy Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister, said parents are the best educators and as such the upbringing of their children depends largely on them.
He said what their children turn out to be later in life rests a lot on the guidance of parents.
“Leaders of the various societies should also help in moulding the younger generation to become responsible citizens,” he said.
